Well everone ELSE was doing it, so I guess we ought to as well! Actually I was checking out Becky's blog and saw how many others were keeping in touch with their blogs. What a wonderful idea! So anyway,... I'm going to bore you with my news too! Whoo hoo!

Now is the time to adjust to yet another new normal. We have forgotten what sleeping through the entire night is like.

Jello Shinanigans

Alright, so when the going gets tough, the tough get Jell-O. Last field day at the school was Russel's last day of school. Well, Krista and I couldn't just let that go. Also, I had just introduced Krista to "The Office" and now she's absolutely in love with Jim Halpert. So, that's where we got the idea from.
We took Russel's classroom key and set it in Jello. It was great. It was easy enough to sneak it off of his key ring. However, I think I inadvertantly lied to him. I saw him the previous night and he asked me, "So do you know what happen to my key?" but he asked it in a tone like he was telling me a story-- like, "so do you know what my dog did today?" I told him, "No, I don't know," as in "No, tell me your story." Well he proceeded to tell me that he had his key there one minute and gone the next. How was I to tell him that his key was at that moment sitting in my fridge setting in Jello?

The next day, I set the beautiful Jello on his desk and awaited his arrival. Krista was sick, but she managed to come in for the shady dealings. Russel got a good laugh, and then his student, Ramzy, proceeded to eat the key out of the Jello.
