You get diamonds from pressure.

So... I haven't really written because nothing REAL huge has been going on. I don't have any pictures or amusing stories. We are successfully 30 weeks pregnant (yipee!) and looking forward to meeting this beautiful child. Our birthing classes are going well. I'm enjoying getting to meet a lot of the OB nurses, although I do miss our own CPCC nurse (oh Jen, you are always in our hearts).
The pressure certainly has been laid on lately. Rick and I have been engaging in regular spiritual warfare, and with that comes attacks on both personal lives and family. Clover Pass is starting to see the stirrings of revival, which is awesome! The enemy doesn't like it, so he's on the move. Rick's been fighting for his older brother Robbi; please be in prayer that he gets right with God. School is really starting to get stressful. I love those students very much; I don't care for the attitude that's been popping up lately. I also have so much to think about with preparing for the baby that I am VERY easily overwhelmed these days. My mom has been planning on retiring from DMV for awhile now, and just as an actual date was starting to form-- her co-worker puts in his 6 week notice. That was a couple of weeks ago. There's a hiring freeze on with the state right now, so getting a replacement is going to be difficult. However, I'm proud of Mom in the sense that when she needs to leave, she's going to leave; no nonsense. So, that's just a few of the things that are going on. God is good. He always is. Of course, prayer is valued above all else. We are still living great, adventurous lives; and it's in these hard times that we really grow in character and our spiritual walk. It's hard to thank God for the hard times, but they are necessary.
